Apply for a tree today!

We are looking for West Laramie residents who could use a shade tree in their front yard, absolutely free of charge. Due to grant funding, we can only plant in the right-of-way: in your front yard, along the sidewalk or roadway. We hope to improve the shade canopy coverage in the West Laramie neighborhood, and your front yard could be a part of that effort. Shade has many benefits, including creating safer areas outside for children to play, and reducing home energy costs.

The deadline for applications is September 1st: it’s only a couple of questions, and takes most people less than 10 minutes. Both renters and owners are eligible, as long as the landlord consents to the planting. Volunteers will be planting trees on September 12th, so your tree will be settled in before winter starts!
